On December 18, Zhou Rongjun, an employee at Jixin’s high-temperature firing workshop, unexpectedly found a wallet on his way to work. The wallet contained not only a thick stack of cash—over 5,000 yuan—but also two ID cards and an important subsidy-claiming certificate. Faced with this “unexpected windfall,” Zhou Rongjun didn’t hesitate for a moment. He immediately reported the situation to the workshop director and, together with the director, voluntarily took the wallet to the nearby police station, asking the authorities to help locate the owner.
