On November 7th, the Physical Inspection Center organized a competition for new and experienced laboratory technicians. General Manager Tian Yile, Deputy General Manager Chen Song, Assistant General Manager Zhang Zhixiang, as well as heads of various units and employee representatives, attended the competition site to witness the skills competition together.
In order to ensure the fairness and professionalism of the competition, a theoretical exam was held in the early stage of the competition, and 4 new and 4 old employees were selected to participate in the practical competition. This competition is closely focused on the production practice of the chromium metal capacity expansion and upgrading project, aiming to test the professional skills and practical abilities of the laboratory technicians.
At the competition venue, the new employees demonstrated the courage and drive of a newborn calf not afraid of a tiger. Their standardized operation and accurate data won praise and recognition from the audience present. The veteran employees, with their rich experience and calm mentality, have demonstrated superb skill levels. After a fierce competition, the competition finally came to a successful conclusion. Old employee Li Huanhuan won the championship of this competition, Feng Weiwei won the runner up, and Tian Lu won the third place; New employee Jiang Weiwei received the New Star Shining Award, while Jiao Shengnan received the Outstanding Progress Award.
This competition not only further improved the professional skills of old employees, but also strengthened the mastery of job skills by new employees. Through the competition, new employees deeply realized their shortcomings in professional skills and expressed their willingness to take this competition as an opportunity to continue learning and improving their professional skills. Old employees, on the other hand, felt the vitality and drive of young people through the competition and expressed their willingness to continue playing a mentoring role, focusing on their positions to cultivate more outstanding laboratory talents for the company.
