On April 22, the third annual Jinzhou Taihe District Employee Skills Competition came to a successful conclusion. Guo Mingyang from Jian'an Company won an excellence award in the universal lathe machining project with his outstanding performance.
A total of 20 contestants participated in the universal lathe machining project of this skills competition. The competition required participants to use a CA6140 lathe to machine components within 60 minutes, based on a given blueprint. This not only tested the contestants' proficiency in lathe operation, but also placed extremely high demands on the precision and efficiency of the operation, as well as the rationality of the process. Every controlled dimension and every detail could be a decisive factor, comprehensively testing the contestants' practical skills and adaptability.
On the day of the competition, the atmosphere was tense yet enthusiastic. As soon as the competition started, Guo Mingyang quickly got into the zone. His hands steadily controlled the lathe, the tools precisely cutting and polishing the workpiece with skilled and smooth movements. Within the limited time, with solid skills and a focused attitude, he gradually processed the workpieces into finished products that met the requirements. After intense competition, Guo Mingyang, with his outstanding performance, ranked fifth and won an excellence award.
This achievement reflects not only his personal efforts and talent, but also the company's emphasis on talent cultivation and skills improvement.
