Looking back on 2018, facing the complex and changeable economic situation and fierce market competition, we united as one and fought hard to continue the brilliant chapter of Jinzhou Jixin.
In 2018, the production and operation of the company achieved remarkable achievements. The total industrial output value reached 387 million yuan, an increase of 27% over the previous year, and the annual budget target was fulfilled ahead of schedule.
In order to further enhance the strength of the enterprise and make it stronger and bigger, in 2018, the company invested more than 30 million yuan in 15 projects, including melting furnace of smelting company, phase II of 6300 kVA non-metallic smelting, and infrastructure reconstruction and expansion of North Factory, which not only effectively improved the working and office environment of employees, but also accelerated the construction of gardens. The process of the enterprise, more importantly, further increases the profitability of the enterprise, improves the equipment level of the company, reduces the labor intensity of workers, improves productivity, and enhances the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market.
In 2018, the company's import and export business has made new breakthroughs. Vanadium pentoxide and metal chromium products manufactured by the company entered the international market for the first time, with a total export value of 7.67 million US dollars and a total import value of 180 million US dollars, an increase of 134 million US dollars over the same period of last year.
In 2018, with the enhancement of the overall strength of the enterprise, the company's external image and social influence have been further enhanced. Jixin High Temperature won the Excellent Award in the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which is the first award in Jinzhou City since its participation and approved by the Provincial Intellectual Property Office as the province's superior intellectual property enterprise; Jixin High Temperature Football Team won the championship in the amateur five-player football (middle and young group) competition in Liaoning Province in 2018; and held in Taihe District. The company made outstanding achievements in the third National Day Interesting Games and was awarded the Sports Ethics Award by the General Assembly. These honors enhance the visibility and social influence of enterprises, and shape a good corporate image.
In 2018, employees'sense of achievement and happiness continued to improve. The average annual wage per employee increased by nearly 5300 yuan compared with 2017, an average increase of 440 yuan per month, an increase of 13%. The development of enterprises has brought tangible benefits to employees. The pride of employees is increasing day by day. The sense of responsibility and mission of enterprises to create a better life for employees is becoming stronger and stronger.
Looking ahead to 2019, we have ambitious goals and grand blueprint, which is our common dream, and also the dream of Jinzhou Jixin. We are all dreamers. The company introduced AEDs and launched first aid training.
To effectively safeguard employees’ lives and improve the overall emergency rescue capacity of all staff, the company officially installed Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on the afternoon of May 15, and jointly launched professional first-aid training with the Third Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University to fully strengthen the workplace safety defense system. Led by Chen Song, Deputy General Manager of the company, more than 50 participants including safety officers and administrative staff from various departments attended the event.
Free Clinic into Enterprises, Warm Care for Staff Health
