On February 6, the 2026 Taihe District “Pioneer Cup” Employee Spring Festival Tug-of-War Competition officially kicked off. Thirty-three teams, comprising nearly 500 employees from enterprises and institutions across the district, gathered together to convey enthusiasm through strength and embody unity through collaboration, thus opening the curtain on a vibrant and inspiring spring event. After four rounds of intense and thrilling competition, our company’s team delivered an outstanding performance and proudly secured second place in the corporate group of this tug-of-war competition.

The competition this time adopts a group-based, draw-based elimination format. Each participating team consists of 12 members—6 men and 6 women. As the referee’s whistle blows, the playing field instantly transforms into an arena of strength and will. Company team members plant their feet firmly on the ground, lean backward in perfect unison, and grip the long rope tightly with hands that resemble iron pincers. Their eyes gleam with intense focus and unwavering concentration. To the rhythmic calls of “One-two, one-two” and amid the roaring cheers and encouragement from the entire audience, the team members unite their hearts and pool their energy. The rope marker repeatedly tugs back and forth across the dividing line; each moment of stalemate is a test of endurance, and every inch of movement embodies the collective strength of the team. Especially during crucial matches, the team members grit their teeth and persevere to the very end. In the end, thanks to their seamless teamwork and indomitable fighting spirit, they earned thunderous applause and cheers from the spectators.
