On March 27th, the "Competition to Promote Learning and 'Quality' to Create the Future" Skills Competition of the Physical Inspection Center came to a successful conclusion, and the competition was carried out for the first time in the form of a combination of offline competition and online observation. Chen Song, deputy general manager of the company, and the leaders of various units watched the whole game through Tencent Meeting and cheered for the players.
A total of 10 quality inspectors participated in the competition, and the whole competition was divided into two parts: theoretical examination and practical competition. In the theory test on March 20, five players, Zhang Baodong, Li Chao, Chen Hong, Bai Yan and Zhang Luying, successfully advanced with a solid theoretical foundation.
On the afternoon of March 27, the practical competition officially kicked off, and the content of the competition was closely focused on the daily actual work, focusing on the sampling of chromium metal and chrome ore, and conducting a comprehensive and detailed assessment of the participants from multiple dimensions. The uniformity of sampling, the size of the sample and the location of the distribution points are all key factors, and there is no room for sloppiness. In the actual operation, obstacles were also set up, and chrome ore was mixed with foreign substances to test the resilience of the contestants. In addition, the safe operation of the equipment in the sample preparation process is also included in the scope of assessment, which is not only a test of the professional ability of the quality inspector, but also a test of their safety awareness.
At the competition site, the atmosphere was tense and enthusiastic. The contestants were engrossed, every movement was rigorous and professional, and they raced against time but carried out each operation step in an orderly manner, giving full play to their accumulated experience and skills to the extreme. In the end, Zhang Baodong, Li Chao and Chen Hong won the first, second and third prizes respectively, and they proved their strength with their results. Although the new employees Bai Yan and Zhang Luying did not win awards in this competition, they showed the positive and learning attitude of the new generation of quality inspectors.
The significance of this competition is not only to determine the winner, but also to promote the continuous improvement of the entire quality inspection team.
