On September 6th, under the guidance and support of the Circular Economy Task Force of the China US Climate Action Working Group, the China Circular Economy Association and the US China National Committee on Trade jointly held the first China US Circular Economy Cooperation Forum in Beijing. The forum aims to build a circular economy exchange and cooperation platform for the business communities, social organizations, research institutions, and other aspects of the two countries, promoting more practical cooperation achievements between the two countries.

This cooperation forum was attended by approximately 460 representatives from the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Market Regulation, as well as government departments such as the US State Department and Department of Energy, as well as enterprises, industry associations, research institutions, and other parties from both countries. The company was invited by the China Circular Economy Association and represented by General Manager Tian Yile and Vice General Manager and Chief Engineer Zhao Pengda of Jixin High Temperature at the forum.

Zhao Chenxin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, John Podesta, Senior Advisor to the President of the United States on International Climate Policy, Liu Zhenmin, Special Envoy for Climate Change Affairs of China, Nicholas Burns, US Ambassador to China, and Xie Zhenhua, former Special Envoy for Climate Change Affairs of China, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered speeches. Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, made a video speech.

At the forum, representatives from all parties engaged in in-depth dialogue on the latest policy directions, technological innovation, market opportunities, and international cooperation related to the circular economy. During this period, the company's general manager Tian Yile had exchanges and discussions with Zhao Kai, the president of the China Circular Economy Association, and Zhang Min, the executive secretary general. President Zhao Kai highly affirmed the role played by the company's metal chromium smelting slag resource utilization project in the field of circular economy. He also stated that the association will continue to play a bridging role, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with international organizations, government agencies, the business community, and academia, and jointly promote the prosperous development of the global circular economy.

The company will also take this China US Circular Economy Cooperation Forum as an opportunity to further deepen its exploration and practice in the field of circular economy.
